AI Disclosure
How BodyClarityHub uses artificial intelligence, what it can and cannot do, and how we handle your data in the process.
Last updated: October 2026
Artificial intelligence helps us turn your tracked data into useful insight — but it has limits. This disclosure explains, clearly and honestly, what our AI does and does not do.
How AI Is Used
BodyClarityHub uses artificial intelligence to help you make sense of the data you track. Our AI-assisted features, including the Ask BodyClarity assistant, analyze your logged metrics to identify patterns, summarize trends, and answer questions about your own data in plain language.
AI is also used to generate educational explanations — for example, helping you understand why a metric might be changing or what a particular measurement means. In every case, the AI is working with the data you have entered and the context you have provided.
What AI Does Not Do
Our AI features do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide personalized medical advice. They do not replace the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional, and they should never be your sole source of information for decisions about your health.
AI does not make decisions for you. It surfaces information and patterns; you decide what to do with them. Any recommendation-like language in an AI response is general and educational, not a personalized instruction.
Data Handling
When you use an AI-assisted feature, the relevant portion of your tracked data is sent to our AI provider for processing so that a response can be generated. This data is transmitted securely and is governed by our Privacy Policy and our provider's data handling terms.
We do not use your personal health data to train advertising models, and we have configured our AI usage to minimize retention. Your data is never sold, and AI responses are shown only to you.
Limitations
Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool, but it has real limitations. AI can produce responses that sound confident and well-reasoned yet are factually incorrect — a phenomenon often called hallucination. It can misinterpret ambiguous data, miss context that a human would catch, or apply general knowledge in a way that does not fit your specific situation.
Because of this, every AI-assisted response on BodyClarityHub includes the underlying data it relied on, so you can verify the response against your own numbers. If something does not seem right, trust your judgment over the AI.
No Medical Diagnosis
BodyClarityHub's AI features are explicitly not designed to identify or diagnose medical conditions. Even if a response mentions a condition, symptom, or risk factor, that mention is educational and general — it is not a clinical conclusion about you.
If you are concerned about a pattern or reading, the correct next step is to consult a qualified healthcare provider who can evaluate your full health picture. See our Health Disclaimer for more information.
User Verification
You are responsible for verifying AI-assisted insights before acting on them. We make this easier by showing the data behind each response, but the final judgment is always yours.
If an insight contradicts what your healthcare provider has told you, defer to your provider. If an insight seems implausible or concerning, do not act on it — investigate, verify, and seek professional input where appropriate.
Third-Party Providers
Our AI features are powered by third-party providers. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by contractual obligations regarding security, confidentiality, and permitted use.
We select providers with strong data protection commitments and review their practices regularly. However, no third-party service is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the behavior of providers' systems beyond the terms we have in place.
Changes to AI Features
AI technology evolves quickly, and we may update, add, or remove AI-assisted features over time. When we make material changes to how AI is used or how your data is handled in connection with AI, we will update this disclosure and notify you where appropriate.
We encourage you to revisit this page periodically to stay informed about the AI features you are using.
